Judoka Peter Paltchik won a bronze medal at the European judo championships held in Tel Aviv, after beating a Russian opponent in the bout for the medal.
Paltchik's medal finish marked Israel's fourth overall in the tournament, after Sagi Muki won gold and and Gefen Primo and Tal Flicker both won bronze as well.
