Instructor claims she sought to abort ill-fated trip, released to house arrest

An instructor initially arrested in the wake of the Zafit Stream flood disaster, which claimed the lives of ten teens, was released to house arrest.

 

The instructor maintained she warned officials and ask for the trip to be canceled.

 

Herself a student at the Bnei Etzion preparatory program, she was arrested on suspicion of negligent homicide.

 

An interrogation of the student, 25, showed that she wished for the hike to be aborted and even cautioned against the possibility of floods.
