US President Donald Trump spoke on Sunday with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about Iranian involvement in the Middle East, according to the White House.
The two leaders discussed “threats and challenges facing the Middle East region, especially the problems posed by the Iranian regime’s destabilizing activities,” according to a White House readout of the call.
Trump has set May 12 as the deadline for a final decision regarding the Iranian nuclear agreement, giving US' European allies less than two weeks to decide on amendments to the deal the US president has deemed as "one of the worst" in US history.
