3 east Jerusalem residents indicted for planning terror attacks in Israel

The State Attorney's Office filed an indictment with the Jerusalem District Court against three east Jerusalem residents. The indictment includes charges of contacting a foreign agent, membership in the Hamas terror organization and conspiring to commit a terrorist act.

The defendants were arrested by the security forces after their Hamas terror cell was recently exposed and thwarted in Jerusalem.

The cell members were allegedly planning to execute terror attacks in Israel. The State's Attorney's office asked to arrest the defendants until the completion of the legal proceedings against them.
