Vehicle tries to run over police officers in Jerusalem in accident

A vehicle tried to run over police officers standing at a bus station near the National Headquarters of the Israel Police Wednesday morning. No one was hurt.

After a short pursuit, police located the fleeing vehicle. The driver and a passenger, residents of east Jerusalem, were detained for questioning.

Police determined the incident was an accident and not nationalistically motivated.
