Haifa bans Lag Ba'Omer bonfires amid risks of blazes

Haifa's Mayor Yona Yahav announced on Wednesday that due to the extreme weather conditions, lighting bonfires in the city's open spaces was forbidden.
"We won't take any chances when our residents' safety is concerned," Yahav said.
