Joint Council of the Pre-Military Academies' CEO: 'Kahan acknowledges responsibility by resigning'

Danny Zamir, the head of the Joint Council of the Pre-Military Academies, welcomed the decision of Yuval Kahan, the principal of the Bnei Zion pre-military academy, to resign on Wednesday, saying it is a proper acknowledgement of responsibility.

"We are certain of the tremendous amount of pain and responsibility Kahan feels about the Zafit Stream flash flood disaster, which claimed the lives of 10 teens," Zamir said.

"The Joint Council of the Pre-Military Academies will continue supporting and assisting the Bnei Zion staff and students in these difficult times and will provide the highest support to the families of the victims," he went on to say.
