The Jerusalem District Court sentenced Nahed Zair, one of the leaders of the Al-Shabab al-Aqsa Hamas-linked terror organization, to three years in prison and a fine of NIS 10,000 for membership in a banned organization as part of a plea bargain.
Al-Shabab al-Aqsa, a self proclaimed religious organization, was designated by Israel as a terror organization in 2011 for its links to Hamas.
