An IDF force fired at a Palestinian who was attempting to sabotage the Gaza Strip border fence in the enclave's northern portion.
A wire cutter and a knife were found on his person. He was taken to hospital in moderate to serious condition.
Earlier Thursday, the Palestinian Ma'an News Agency reported that Palestinian youths were successful in removing a portion of the fence east of Khan Yunis, in the strip's south. IDF forces, it was reported, retaliated by firing tear gas at them.
