Hamas tightens security measures on its officials

Hamas has tightened security measures on its leader Ismail Haniyeh and other senior officials amid growing concern of attempts on their lives.
The decision was made following the recent assassination attempts against the Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah and Hamas security head Tawfiq Abu Na'im, according to the Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper.
Hamas' concerns do not only stem from alleged Israeli attempts, but also from ISIS-related elements collaborating with elements within the Palestinian Authority.
