Pro-deportation south Tel Aviv residents welcome override power bill advancement

Southern Tel Aviv residents in support of the deportation of African migrants welcomed on Sunday the advancement of the override power bill in the Ministerial Committee for Legislation.

"It's a day of hope for southern Tel Aviv residents. We congratulate Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Education Minister Naftali Bennett for putting an end to the High Court of Justice's unbearable dictatorship," they said in a statement.

"We expect the government to lead the High Court back to his natural place and for it to formulate a sane immigration policy," they went on to say.
