Hamas: 'Israel to pay heavy price for 6 killed in Deir al-Balah explosion'

Hamas's military wing continued on Sunday to blame Israel for the death of six of its members in an explosion the Deir al-Balah the previous day.

"The explosion happened while the Hamas military wing members were tracking the biggest spy system Israel has planted in the Gaza Strip. Israel will pay a heavy price, it's inevitable," Hamas's military wing said.

Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh said the six fatalities had thwarted many security and intelligence actions, vowing to "strike the enemy until victory."
