PA calls to boycott US Embassy inauguration in Jerusalem

The Palestinian Authority called Monday on countries and international organizations to boycott the US embassy inauguration ceremony in Jerusalem next week.

The PLO's General-Secretary Saeb Erekat called upon all diplomatic delegations, civil organizations and religious authorities to boycott the ceremony.

"It's not only an illegal move, but a move that will prevent achieving a just, long-lasting peace between two sovereign and democratic countries within the 1967 lines," he said.
