Saudi Arabia will develop its own nuclear arsenal if Iran does, Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir warned on Wednesday, as tensions increased in the region.
Asked on the CNN about the possibility that Riyadh would "build its own bomb" if Tehran used the US withdrawal of the 2015 agreement to resume its nuclear program, Mr. Jubeir said: "If Iran adopts “a nuclear capability, we will do our utmost to do the same”.
