Liberman says he hopes Rouhani truthful about not wishing escalation

Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman said Friday he hopes Iranian President Hassan Rouhani told the truth when he said saying his country is not interested in "new tensions" in the region.

"This is an important message, I hope Rouhani told the truth," Lieberman said during a visit to Katzrin.

Lieberman then directly addressed Syrian President Bashar Assad, telling him to "Kick (Quds Force Commander) Qassem Suleimani and the Revolutionary Guards' Quds Force from Syria," stressing that "they are not helping you, only harming you. kick them out and a new life would be possible," Lieberman added.
