IDF: 'Gaza border riots showcase most serious violence since protests began'

The IDF said in a statement the number of rioters on the Gaza Strip border was "the largest turnout for these demonstrations, but still relatively few compared to Hamas's expectations."
"Hamas has upped the level of violence in the past hour, therefore," the army added. "Hamas has placed a lot of women on the forefront of the charge on the fence in an effort to make it harder for us to handle terrorism targets."
"It's the most significant violence since protests began," the IDF concluded.
