The Turkish Foreign Affairs Ministry summoned Israel's Ambassador Eytan Naeh and notified him he must leave.
The Jerusalem Foreign Affairs Ministry declined comment on the matter.
Notice of the ambassador's expulsion came after Turkey denounced Israel following Gaza Strip border protests Monday.
