The IDF intercepted an unidentified object that infiltrated northern Israel on Thursday afternoon, according to a message from local authorities in the Golan Heights.
A rocket-alert siren was sounded in four communities in the Golan Heights, sending residents to bomb shelters and safe rooms.
"There are no falls in the Golan area. The Iron Dome system was activated," the message said.
