Iran responds to US: we don't need your permission to fulfill our regional role

Iran's National Security Committee member Mojtaba Zu-Nouri responded Monday to US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo's remarks in which the latter had demanded Iran to pull out its forces from Syria.

"Iran doesn’t need anyone's permission to fulfill its regional role," Zu-Nouri said.

"Our missiles are defensive and range to wherever we see a threat," he added.
