Police Commissioner laments strained relations with PM, insinuates it affects security
Police Commissioner Roni Alshikh, addressed his failing relations with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and said that in the past he used to meet with him more and was invited more frequently to the discussions, opining it affects Israel's security.
"In my opinion, this causes the police position to be less heard," he said at an event at Tel Aviv University.
Relations between Netanyahu and Alshikh have been strained over the police's multiple cases against the premier's suspected crimes.
