Putin says Moscow regrets cancelation of US-North Korea summit

ST. PETERSBURG – Russian President Vladimir said on Thursday that Moscow regrets the cancellation of the summit between the United States and North Korea.

Speaking after talks with French President Emmanuel Macron in St. Petersburg, Putin said he hoped the summit would take place nonetheless.

Earlier on Thursday US President Donald Trump called off a historic summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un scheduled for next month, citing Pyongyang's "open hostility."
