Hundreds attend Staff Sgt. Lubarsky's funeral

Hundreds of the Duvdevan elite unit's soldiers and relatives attended the funeral of Staff Sergeant Ronen Lubarsky, who had succumbed to his wounds Saturday morning after being hit in the head with a marble slab during an IDF operation Thursday near Ramallah.

Twenty-year-old Lubarsky was pronounced dead at Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem’s Ein Kerem, and was interred at the military cemetery in the capital's Mount Herzl on 2 am Sunday.
