Cop suspected of assaulting Jafar Farah made to take leave

The police officer who was questioned by the Police Investigations Unit on suspicion of breaking human rights activist Jafar Farah's leg following a solidarity demonstration with Gaza's residents was made to take leave, according to the police.

A further probe into the police officer's conduct is expected.
