2 mortar shells fall in open space in Israeli Gaza border towns

Two mortar shells fell in Gaza border communities' open space on Tuesday following a rocket salvo that was launched earlier at Israel from Gaza triggering a code red alert across the Gaza border communities.

In addition, 25 mortar shells were fired at Israel, most of them intercepted by the Iron Dome defense system.
