IDF discredits false rumors spread on social media saying the conflict in the south has spread to Israel's north, stressing to residents living near the Syrian border they are not required to stay within range of a bomb shelter.
"Rumors and false messages have been disseminated on social media and on WhatsApp, please take responsibility and do not distribute the wrong information," the IDF said in a statement addressed to Israel's public.
