IDF Spokesperson Brigadier General Ronen Manelis called the dozens of rockets fired at Israel Tuesday "a severe terror attack on the State of Israel."
"This is a loss of control by Hamas, after it failed to cross the border fence—it chose a path of terror," he continued. "We carried out three waves of attack on dozens of terrorist targets in the Gaza Strip, including sites for the manufacture of weapons and several tunnels, and the attacks will intensify as much as necessary.
