The Islamic Jihad admitted Tuesday that it was in talks with Egypt regarding a truce with Israel on the Gaza Strip border, but noted that its response to Egypt was that it would "respond to any Israeli aggression."
The terrorist organization boasted that "the operation of the Hamas Al-Qassam Brigades and the Islamic Jihad's Al-Quds Brigades proves our unity on the ground and reflects the existence of a joint operations room for the resistance that manages, plans and carries out the operations."
