Changing ceremony for GOC Southern Command postponed by 3 days

A ceremony for a changing of GOC Southern Command, set to take place Sunday, was postponed by three days.
The IDF said the decision was reached in light of operational considerations and after consultations held by Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot with the current commander, Maj.-Gen. Eyal Zamir.
Zamir will be placed by Maj.-Gen. Herzi Halevi, a former head of the Military Intelligence Directorate.
