Report: US expressed reservations regarding Iranian withdrawal from south Syria

The United States expressed reservations about the understandings reached between Israel and Russia regarding the withdrawal of Iranian and Hezbollah forces from southern Syria, Asharq Al-Awsat reported citing Western diplomatic sources.
According to the report, the American reservations stemmed from the US desire to continue exerting pressure on Syrian President Bashar Assad.
