Argentina's Foreign Affairs Ministry Jorge Faurie spoke about the cancelation of the Argentina-Israel soccer match on Tuesday that was scheduled to take place on Saturday in Jerusalem.
"As far as I know, the players of the national team were unwilling to play the game," Fauri said.
"(Part of the reasons for the cancelation of the match) are the media's campaign (against the game) that has become viral, threats sent to players and their family members and Argentina's bloody soccer Jerseys (used by protesters against the match)," he added.
