Gabbay calls for police investigation into 'Regev's corrupt conduct'

Zionist Union leader Avi Gabbay lamented the cancelation of the warmup soccer match scheduled to take place between Israel and Argentina on Saturday in Jerusalem.

"Unfortunately, (the cancelation) can provoke an international tsunami," Gabbay tweeted.

"(Culture and Sports Minister) Miri Regev's corrupted conduct—beginning from the 2018 Israeli Independence Day Ceremony, and ending with Times Square celebrations and (ticket sales) for Israel's match with Argentina—has to be investigated by the police," he said.

"This is our country, our taxes, our honor, and not Regev's primaries campaign," he lashed out.
