Italian interior minister expresses solidarity with Regev after Argentina friendly cancellation

Italian Interior Minister Matteo Salvini expressed support of Israel's Culture and Sports Minister Miri Regev on Wednesday in the wake of the cancellation of the Israel-Argentina friendly.
A statement on the Twitter account of the Italian embassy said Salvini expressed "solidarity to the Israeli colleague Minister of Culture and Sport @regev_miri, because it is not possible that hatred, threats and violence could block even a peaceful sport event."
