Arab Joint List slams party-funding bill as 'racist legislation'
The Knesset's Internal Affairs Committee, headed by Knesset Member Yoav Kish of Likud, reviewed the party-funding bill Monday and determined to continue deliberations on the matter next week.
MK Kish is promoting an amendment to the bill under which a Knesset list containing several parties will receive funding only for two parties.
If the amendment passes, it would directly influence the Arab Joint Listand would force it to dissolve.
Joint List MKs slammed the bill during the meeting as "racist legislation."
