Streams in south to close for visitors for 2 days due to possible floods

None

The Israel Nature and Parks Authority announced Monday that the Darga and Kumran streams will be closed for visitors due to fear of possible floods in the east of the country.

The trails will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Qasr-el-Yahud, a baptism site in the Jordan River, will be opened for tourists only after 12pm because of landmine clearance work in the area.
