Council of Torah Sages orders Haredi MKs to quit coalition if draft law passes
The Council of Torah Sages of Agudat Yisrael, the hasidic faction of the United Torah Judaism, ordered its representative in the Knesset to quit the coalition if the new draft law is promoted without cooperation with them.
The Council ordered its MKs to try imposing changes on the current draft law.
The decision is binding for Deputy Ministers Yaakov Litzman and Meir Porush and MKs Yisrael Eichler and Menachem Eliezer Moses.
