Turkey's PM implies Israel faked its Eurovision win
Turkey's Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım accused Israel Friday of tampering with the Eurovision Song Contest results in which Israel had won last month with Netta Narziali's song "Toy."
Yıldırım implied Israel had faked its win in order to hold next year's Eurovision in Jerusalem and instigate a religious war.
"Israel knows how to kill, not sing," Yıldırım said during an interview to the Turkish television.
"They (Israel) won despite the fact they had not gotten the (highest score)."
"The imperialists did it since they want the contest to be held in Jerusalem next year in order to instigate a conflict between religions," he went on to say.
"The Israeli singer isn't a good singer, she just doesn't know how to sing," he concluded.
