PLO secretary-general: US has entered a very dangerous game

Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) Secretary-General Saeb Erekat said Tuesday that the United States was attempting to transform the Palestinian issue from a political one to a humanitarian one.

"The US has entered a very dangerous game, attempting to transform national rights to humanitarian projects," Erekat said.

"We have to realize the reconciliation agreements between Hamas and Fatah and to find common grounds for a complete political cooperation based on the PLO's plan," he added.
