Chabad files a petition against Tel Aviv Municipality

Chabad filed a petition to the Administrative Court Thursday against the Tel Aviv Municipality.

The petition was filed on the backdrop of Tel Aviv's Mayor Ron Huldai announcement he would not allow gender segregation in Chabad's "Messiah in the Square" event which is scheduled to take place on Monday at Rabin Square in Tel Aviv.

Chabad claims that the "Messiah in the Square" event takes place every year in addition to many other events being held in public spaces including Rabin Square with complete gender segregation.
