Herzog elected as Jewish Agency chairman

The Jewish Agency's appointment committee will recommend the Agency's board of trustees to elect MK Isaac Herzog as the organization's chairman for a four-year tenure. Herzog is expected to step into the position on August 1st.

Earlier, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recommended the Agency against Herzog's appointment.
