Ashkelon hacker convicted

Tel Aviv's District Court convicted Thursday the Ashkelon hacker of threatening US institutions and an airline company from his home computer.

He was convicted of extortion, and sending false bomb threats among others.

The Court's decision was announced behind closed doors since the defendant was a minor at the time he committed the crimes.
