Syrian report: South Syria truce comes into effect

The ceasefire in south Syria came into effect Friday at midnight and will last for 12 hours, according to Al Jazeera broadcasting network.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights announced an additional round of talks is expected to be held between Russia and the rebel-held area in Daraa province.
The talks aim to achieve an immediate and complete ceasefire.
