Zikim shore closed

The Zikim shore was closed Saturday under a Maj. Gen. order in the wake of overnight Friday's events on the Gaza border in which the IDF attacked a Hamas terror tunnel following several rockets and mortar shell barrages launched from Gaza.

In the IDF's situation evaluation, it was decided to restrict gatherings of more than 100 people in open spaces and more than 500 people in closed spaces across the Gaza border communities.
