United Torah Judaism MKs' retirement postponed for a month

The Council of Torah Sages of Agudat Yisrael, the Hasidic faction of United Torah Judaism, has decided to postpone by one month making good on their ultimatum to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding the approval of the IDF draft bill, and to hold off on the resignation of its members of Knesset from the coalition.

The Counsil instructed its MKs to resign from their positions on August 12 if the High Court of Justice doesn't grant the state an extension on passing the draft bill.
