UN Security Council will discuss the escalation in Gaza on Tuesday

The UN Security Council will discuss the latest escalation in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday.

Israel's ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon, called on the council members to condemn Hamas: "In recent weeks Hamas deliberately created confrontations with Israel. Hamas is solely responsible for the escalation in the Gaza Strip, the Security Council and the international community must unequivocally condemn Hamas," Danon said.
