Jordan sent a protest letter to Israel regarding settlers' entry into Al-Aqsa Mosque

Jordanian government spokeswoman Jumana Ghanimat said Jordan sent an official letter of protest to Israel for "the ongoing attacks on the Al-Aqsa Mosque." In a statement published by the official Jordanian news agency Petra, the settlers entered the site with police escort in order to "provoke" Muslim worshipers.
