The Israeli basketball reserve team won the European Championship

Israel's reserve team won the European Championship for player under the age of 20, for the first time in its history, after beating Croatia 80-66 in the final game that took place in Kamenitz, Germany on Sunday.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke to the coach of the basketball team and congratulated him on winning the European Championship: "To defeat France and Croatia  sounds like the World Cup, it's a wonderful achievement and we are all proud of you.
