Netanyahu endorses construction of 'floating' airport

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu instructed that plans to construct a new airport on an artificial island off the coast of Israel be advanced. In a meeting regarding the demolition of Tel Aviv’s Sde Dov Airfield, Netanyahu said that the priorities of Eilat residents, and tourists, be taken into consideration with regards to flights from Ben Gurion Airport when Sde Dov is closed.
