Former Likud minister: 'I am ashamed of the Nationality Law'

Dan Meridor, former Minister of Justice and Finance slammed the Nationality Law and said that "this is an unnecessary, harmful and, above all, shameful law."

Meridor added that "our constitution is the identity card of all citizens of the state, and everyone should be proud of it. Not only Arabs or Druze criticize this law, I cannot be proud of this law either, I am ashamed of it."
