Lieberman: children launch incendiary balloons from populated areas

Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman said on Thursday that the new policy regarding fires in the Gaza vicinity obstructs the launching of incendiary balloons and kites.

"Hamas clearly instructed that balloons and kites be flown out of populated homes, mainly by children, and we will act accordingly," Lieberman added.

Lieberman also referred to tensions in the north, saying that from his point of view Syria had returned to life before the civil war. "President Assad knows what is happening, we will not give up our security interests and we will not interfere in Syria's internal affairs without a reasonable cause."
