Netanyahu cuts short meeting with Druze leaders

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met Thursday with leaders of the Druze community, to discuss the controversial Nationality Law at his office in Jerusalem. The meeting was cut short after Brig. Gen. (Res.) Amal Asad interrupted and called Israel an “apartheid state.” The prime minister said that he will not accept the disrespecting of the prime minister and the state.
